SABRE vs68

Here she is!!!...SABRE....an absolute work of art.Unbelievably this 1959 Col Winton Skiffabout is still a virgin.A time capsule for those of us that missed the golden years of power boat racing in Australia to appreciate...That finish, the craftsmanship, the sign work, the screen, the stainless, that trim, the trailer, everything just unbelievable. My words just cant do her justice, enjoy the pics folks.....thanks Doc,your a bloody marvel!!!

DODGE "Q" GO JOB

These fantastic Dodge Kew sidevalve truck engines were very popular in race boats, speedway cars, and hot rods of the golden era.Doc's ripper came from an old race boat "BANDIT"....What a cracker!!!

FURY

On a mission...note back up pushie!

FURY and the BELMONT

Hi poles start popping up in the early 90's

Skipper H and a much younger, healthier me on the rope.
FURY... 1800 Bullet...200 Mercury Black Max...Good mate Hayden gave me the scariest rides I've ever been on in this old girl.Wild dash's across the bay got very squirrely most of the time launching over and through very rough white water with me cacking!!.Plenty of Murray missions too,her only downfall was running costs, the amount of fuel that we put through this thing over the years was phenomenal.Worth it for the memories though, aye H.

OLD SCHOOL AD'S

Offerings from the big three...Shame amateur boating isn't as popular as it once was.

RIP Haydz

onya Johnno ...champion mate.

COMET...FILAM SKI SPORT...186s....This old girl 'COMET' belonged to a close family friend Johnno.I think I spent more hours behind this boat then any other,we took her absolutely everywhere for years and years. We affectionately called her "THE BELMONT" for obvious reasons, but you could see the faint remains of her old name COMET when first picked up from the original owners in Albury who used her on Hume Weir for many years....Many happy days in the old BELMONT,onya Johnno..........    Plenty of Filam info on our facebook page here>>>http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100003566695964&sk=info Please get in touch if you have one.
