the POTTS FAMILY album; ROAMING AROUND ....pt 1

Always off walkabout somewhere, it seems Mal has an uncanny knack of stumbling across Aussie ski boats either on stand-by, in need of love, about to receive it, barn finds, strays ...a few pearler's, some too far gone and perhaps just a reminder of happier days.
Must be thousands out there ....why not show us whats in YOUR neck of the woods that we might not otherwise see :) .....Plenty more from Mal shortly. Cheers mate.

Ron's album; "AGGRESSOR"

Regulars will recall Ron's previous craft; 'PRESTO', 'SABRE', & 'HOTLIPS', ...well this is the one that never got away. 'AGGRESSOR' is one very unique Meos Hornet thanks to her beautiful timber deck which was fitted from new..... Kudos to Ron for sharing his babies with us, champion Aussie skiboater!!!

"TREMBLA" ..... Aus Day

kool 4 kats

"Just spent a week on the river at Roonka Homestead, just up stream from Blanchtown SA
5 families, 20 people, we had a ball, perfect weather all week.
My lad just got his boat licence, and got some good experience towing his mates around.
                 Trembla performed faultlessly once again.
                 Cheers Jeff"

TREMBLA

TREMBLA...Meos Hornet mk1...Holden 308...Thommo sent in these pic's of his awesome little Hornet to share with us.Cheer's mate.Lucky bugger get's to enjoy the spoil's of S.A's stretch of the Murray, which is ski heaven in my eye's(so much better than the Vic end I love)...The boat was originally pieced together by a couple of mates that worked together in the engineering dept.at Holden's Elizabeth plant in S.A. It was later sold to a fella from the same dept. who later sold it to a mate from the same dept. again!!!This is where Thommo stepped in and he's been thrilled with the reliability of the old girl which hasn't missed a beat... Wait till you see the pics of the next boat Thommo sent us, it's a ripper!...I beleive he might be holding back on pic's of some old racing skiff's he has though..See how we go.
