DROMANA back in the day

  1. This is very early 60 s
    When the trailers where parked on the beach, the boat ramp was made of timber planks from water to halfway up the sand you had to get a run-up to get through the sand to the brick wall where the concrete was. I think it would have been around 1963-4 when the concrete ramp when in and parking was up top and you had to pay a ramp fee to use it at a box at the wall

  2. My trips don't date this far back but, but I too have fond memories of skiing in this area in my earlier days. Love the Peninsula!
