Here's something you won't see everyday, it's a Cooperbilt. Lovin those nicely styled scoops on her deck. Does anyone know anything about this manufacturer? My brother had one back in the day, bought the hull and set it up with a 327 chev. The thing went for years, great all round ski boat and lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteI have owned a Cooperbuilt 'Le Peid' since 1986, still used as a social ski boat. Its kept in very original condition always garaged. Great lake boat having a deep V at the bow to handle choppy water, and structurally strong. I understand they were made in Sydney from 1972 to 1978. Mine came with a 1978 model 308 so suspect it was one of the last Cooperbuilts made.
