the "TREMBLA" album: "LINDA - K" & friends @ Goolwa

We finally get to see Jeff's beloved "LINDA - K" in action ...mainly because he's usually behind the camera so thanks to snaparazzi whomever ;). Look's like you's had a ball! Hopefully a more in depth feature down the track on this magic skiff... a beautiful piece of South Australian history.

*** hit 'the TREMBLA album' label seen below for more Aquafest & Trembla pics along with G.A.C. links.

"WARLORD" GP3 takes the 100th E.C. Griffith Cup

bit of blatant brand placing for ol mate "paranoid" ;)

An Aussie boat with a Kiwi driver...the Anzac spirit was alive and well at Pykes Creek on the weekend for the 100th running of the E.C. Griffith Cup. New Zealand's Graeme Weller skillfully piloted "WARLORD" to the win in a hard fought duel with New Zealand cattle farmer Kenny Lupton's "CHEETAH" hot on his heels from start to finish. An epic battle!
Weller reclaimed the prestigious cup he won back in 2010. GP3 owner Ron Burton is also no stranger to the cup having had his hands on it 7 times previously no less!
Cheers also to "LOOSE In The DARK" (crazy looking thing) for putting in a very solid performance chasing the kiwi fellas.
Sadly, hot favorite (2012 winner) Grant Harrison had to watch from the banks after GP1 sheered her shaft and sent the prop flying in the last heat slightly damaging his craft in the process.... the crowd felt his pain :(
A ripper turnout of boats in the variety of classes put on an awesome show and ASB thanks all teams and organizers involved... enjoyed me'self!

***more pics; classics at the cup coming soon ;)

the POTTS FAMILY album; "TORMENTA" ....for sale

Ski boats and the mighty Murray are just a way of life for the Potts family. Sadly "TORMENTA" is on the block so we'll start with her before we take a peek at the other beautiful classics in their fleet. Born in 1985 and one of only 25 built, she's a limited edition Camero Nordic Mk II running a 350 Chev and has all the bells and whistles.
Here's a link if your after a good strong boat >>> camero-nordic-mkll-limited-edition  ...thing is mint !!
Keep an eye on this album... some rippers coming up ;)

AL's CONCORDE

as found

a miracle! ...St Georges River, Liverpool.

"I found this Flightcraft Concorde sitting in a shed where she had been left for well over ten years and just had to have it" ..... A bloody great job you've done there Alex. Much respect for saving this rare bird and returning her to the drink... a credit to ya. Power comes from a 383 stroker that is a little too 'rumpity' for family use so a stock injected big block could be on the cards.... cheers for sharing ;)
