Little is known about the once popular Twin Lakes near Ballan. Many races were held on this lake including state championships and other titles. The V.O.C. club rooms can be seen in the background (the club also had facilities in Ivanhoe and on Edwards Park Lake in Reservoir at the time). We would love to hear from anyone that may have pics or memories from either of these venues (club races also held on flooded swampland near Seaford). Sadly Twin Lakes is now a fenced off reservoir with no trace of her rich power boating history ...born too late I tell ya!
