  1. Dodge flathead Q [large] motor, Dry sump- Front & Rear alloy plates, Hi Speed Walker Exhausts alloy -twin copper pipes.[Original intake had twin holley xk falcon carbies which were in a bad state as was the Mallory twin point Dist.] Head bolts replaced but some odd size due to Heli coiled block.Mikuni Carbs x3 fitted. I was offered the remains of a race boat "Bandit" a Max Shepard craft. Walked behind a garage and there sat the complete boat minus wood. The owner mowed around boat since 1974 and each time would pick up part of the rotting hull. There sat complete motor and exhaust system to transom , monel shaft and 2 blade prop. It was a part of boating history that had to come home, at the time the price was high but no regrets Later on the owner rang to say he a found all the deck gear which included a complete "Husky Windscreen" all a bonus on the deal.

    1. Thanks ASB,
How do you think i felt when i first laid eyes on it. Must have! some guys put a model car on the shelf. For the same type of money, i prefer the real thing on the garage floor. This motor would sit under any wooden boat with a hatch without cutting any holes for air cleaners.
